Swedish brand Husqvarna’s tryst with motorcycles started way back in 1903. It’s a brand that’s well-known for its off-road and enduro bikes. Until 2013, Husqvarna was owned by the BMW Group and then its ownership changed hands to Pierer Industries AG, which is owned by Stefan Pierer, the current CEO of KTM. In recent years, the company has made its presence felt in the retro-modern segment thanks to new products like the Vitpilen and Svartpilen 401 & 701 twins. In fact, the brand has partnered with Bajaj Auto and will be launching the Vitpilen 401 and Svartpilen 401 in 2020. The two upcoming motorcycles will be positioned above the KTM 390 twins for its premium quotient.
