VinFast​

In 2018, General Motors announced a partnership between Chevrolet and VinFast, granting VinFast exclusive distribution rights for Chevrolet vehicles in Vietnam. As part of the agreement, VinFast also acquired GM Korea’s existing factory in Hanoi (VIDAMCO), which would be used to manufacture a GM-licensed “all-new global small car” under the VinFast brand.

Expanding its global presence, VinFast has now set its sights on the Indian market, aiming to offer more choices to prospective buyers. The brand is widely recognized for its models such as the VinFast VF e34, VF3, VF6, VF7, and VF8. Its debut in India is expected to be in the competitive SUV segment.
